Many people move through life wearing masks they never consciously chose to put on.
Masks that were created to:
fit in,
avoid conflict,
be liked,
feel safe,
or survive the environments they grew up in.
Some learn to be “the strong one.”
Others become “the nice one.”
Some become quiet.
Others learn to smile even when their heart is hurting.
And after many years, these roles can become so familiar
that we almost forget who we really are beneath them.
Perhaps that is why so many people feel:
tired,
empty,
or disconnected from themselves.
Because it takes an enormous amount of energy to constantly be something we are not. 🌿
Perhaps genuine freedom is not about becoming “perfect.”
But about daring to meet ourselves a little more honestly.
Behind the masks.
Behind the roles.
Behind the expectations.
And perhaps asking:
“Who am I when I am no longer trying to be who everyone else needs me to be?” 💜✨
