From Blame to Responsibility

When something is not working, it is natural to look for the cause outside of ourselves.

In the system.
In other people.

In the structures we are part of.

And often, there are good reasons.

Systems can be fragmented.
Demands can be unrealistic.

People can act without understanding.

Blame can therefore feel like a form of clarity.

A way of placing responsibility.

But it can also do something else.

It can keep us stuck.

As long as the cause remains outside of us,
our ability to change anything becomes limited.

Not because we have done something wrong.

But because we give away our influence.

Bringing responsibility back home is not about taking blame.
It is not about carrying more.

It is about beginning to see:

What happens within me, when this happens around me?

How do I respond?
What is triggered?
What repeats itself?

In that shift, something quiet takes place.

We move from reaction,
to awareness.

Warmly, Rita 🌿💛
